You have received a letter of acceptance from the International Office?

 

In order to enroll, please come and visit us in the Admissions & Enrollment Office during the office hours. The enrollment deadline is mentioned in your letter of acceptance.

To successfully enroll at TU Dortmund University, please make sure to have all necessary documents with you and visit us only during the official office hours or send your documents by post (see below).

 

Extended enrollment deadlines for Master Degree Programs

You have received a letter of acceptance for a Master Degree Program and you want to enroll?

The enrollment period for the summer semester 2019 is from 04 March 2019 to 28 March 2019.

During this time you have the possibility to enroll in person at the TU Dortmund University. Please come with your original documents during our office hours to:

There are often long waiting times during the enrollment process due to the fact that the enrollment applications are performed in person. In order to save you the long waiting period, we would like to inform you about the possibility of a postal enrollment application.

The enrollment period for the summer semester 2019 is from 04 March 2019 to 28 March 2019.

During this time you may turn in your completed enrollment application documents personally at our information desk or by post. Please send us the matriculation registration for the summer semester 2019 with all of the necessary documents (certified copies) to the following address:

To enroll you need the following documents:

  • Your signed letter of acceptance

  • matriculation registration form

  • Your passport with a valid visa for studying purposes (including an electronic residence permit and supplementary sheet – if you have lived in Germany for a longer period of time)

  • The original of your secondary school degree (including all grades) as well as the original of its translation in German or English

  • A certificate of a German statutory health insurance (we also require a certificate of a German statutory health insurance should you be privately insured)

  • Original German language certificate (a DSH2 or an equivalent – see: language requirements)

Additionally for applicants from China, Mongolia and Vietnam:

  • Applicants from China, Mongolia and Vietnam have to enclose the certificate as issued by the “Akademische Prüfstelle (APS)” at the German Embassy in their country of origin.

All original documents will not be retained but returned to the applicant after checking them for completeness.
